TIME TO TALk about myself
TIME TO TALK about myself

What a nice surprise to find you here. Just kidding I knew you were coming.

Let me tell you a little bit about myself (You wouldn't be here otherwise)

I'm a digital designer based in Somerset West, South Africa. For those of you who don't know, it is a biggish town very close to the City of Cape Town. I studied graphic design in Bloemfontein and have been in love with the design space ever since.

Ever since I was a little nugget, I wanted to be able to take everything that's going inside my head and put it on paper for the world to see. In primary school I would draw the coolest monsters and the fastest cars. Sometimes I would make up soccer teams or countries and design their flags, emblems, kits etc. I absolutely loved how my imagination could become reality.

I've been transitioning from the standard graphic design area to UI/UX design. What comes with UX design is more than just creativity. Sometimes there's logic behind it. Like comparing stats about how some users clicked a button more because it had a "Almost sold out" call out. I love figuring out how a website or app can be improved while also making it look like the best version of itself. Almost like being a therapist, but for websites.

The reason I believe that I'm called out for this profession is that I always want to stand out between others and hate to follow the crowd.
